On Friday, August 28, 2026, the Grands-Ponts Regional Council’s Treasury Committee held a meeting, chaired by the President of the Regional Council.

This meeting provided an opportunity to review the mobilization of the region’s own resources, the execution of expenditures, outstanding payments, as well as the issuance of payment orders and other matters related to the sound financial management of the local government.

Alongside the President were the 3rd Vice President, Mrs. Essis, wife of Mr. Tomé; the 4th Vice President, Mr. Cissé Inza; the Chief of Staff; the Director General of Administration; the Deputy Director General of Administration; the Regional Paymaster; and the Director of Financial Affairs (DAF).

This approach, characterized by rigor, transparency, and foresight, reflects the President’s commitment to continuing the responsible management of public resources in support of the development and well-being of the people of Grands-Ponts.
